Jon is a PGA Life Member. He turned professional in 1980. Jon played on several golf tours including the Golden State Tour and the Canadian PGA Tour. He has been teaching full-time since 1993. Some of his accomplishments include PGA 2012 Merchandiser of the Year (Alabama - NW Florida Section) and PGA 2013 Alabama Chapter Golf Professional of the Year. Before returning to the Professionals’ Golf Shop for the past two years, Jon was the Director of Golf at the Links at Redstone in Huntsville for 15 years. With his mentor, Billy Eastep, retiring, Jon has made the decision to return to teaching. He incorporates both video and launch monitor technology in most of his lessons.
